It's been so long..

I don't even know where to begin. I've missed two Megan updates, our trip to Washington, Christmas festivities, and New Year's. That's a lot of info.... I don't ever want to go this long again!

In scrapping news, I haven't submitted in forever- need to get back to doing that, too. The last thing that came out was the book in CK, and this month I have a layout in SB Trends.
Also, I am now a part of KMA's Design Team and ScrapLover's. Yay! Both fabulous sites- check them out! It was a little overwhelming at first at the thought of it- especially during all the holiday insanity, but I'm so excited for both now. KMA was the first place I ever ordered any scrap supplies from (Brandy, do you remember that going away gift certificate???) and ScrapLovers is an awesome site too with great people.

The trip to Washington was great- the kiddos got to see snow and play in it- we took them up to the mountains to go sledding, and the rest of the time we were at my mom's it snowed there, too. Very cool... Thanksgiving was good, too. Just the family- much needed and good times for all.
I've also been pretty busy with overalls and outfits had quite a few for Christmas, and now have started on several different patterns for spring. It started out as a favor for a friend, and has spread like crazy!
We also had the arrival of Baby Bryce on December 8th. She's beautiful and doing great.

Christmas Eve we went to church and then to the Keller's for dinner and presents. Christmas Day we did the Santa stuff, went to the Keller's for brunch and the annual puzzle, then over to Nick & Serene's for Christmas dinner.

We also had my niece Sommer's 10th birthday, Gray's 4th birthday, a trip to the children's museum, and all the regular Christmas insanity in between. Whew.

Then there's NYE. Had a great time with the now annual fondue party at our house, and I heard the fireworks were fabulous. I missed them because I was busy bashing my face into the backyard table while getting chairs for the front to go around the fire pit. Created a nice crime scene throughout the house (nothing bleeds quite like a nose after a few glasses of wine). I heard the ball drop from my bed, laid up with ice packs covering my face and knees, while everyone stood around me counting down. Awesome. Guess I needed to make sure everyone remembered the evening. I am now bruised from head to toe, with a baseline fracture of the nose. I always forget how many different colors bruises can change....

Megan is doing great- a "little S-H-I-T" as I fondly refer to her now and then. Although that came to a screeching halt when Cameron told his Aunt Shelley the other day (after Megan had whacked him numerous times in the head), "Aunt Shelley, Megan is a little S-I-T-H-O-P" Hmm... better stop spelling things around the house. Can't wait until he shares that one with the teachers.
Since my last Megs post, she's upped the vocabulary to "Uh Oh", "Dawg" (every animal is a dog), and "Ow" (She heard it enough from all of us every time she whacks on us). She loves to dance all the time- every time music starts playing she starts getting busy. It's hilarious to watch. She's starting to pretend a lot more- she got a kitchen for Christmas, and many a baby doll she loves to snuggle with, and she still loves books, although she doesnt' like to be read to- she just wants to turn the pages herself. Cam's doing great- he'll be celebrating his Half Birthday on the 30th- makes me want to cry even thinking about itj- can't believe he'll be starting Kindergarten in the fall. He's been obsessed with age lately- refers to everything in the past as "When I was 3..." or "When I was 2..." and everything in the future as "When I'm five..." It's hilarious. And apparently we threatened with the "be a good boy or Santa won't come" one too many times, because now he seems to need an update throughout the day. "I'm being a good boy, right Mommy?" These days I can usually say yes... :)

Anyways, if you've read this far, that's the "in a nutshell" update- tried to condense it as much as possible so I no longer feel overwhelmed to update all that's happened in the last two months, and I can get back to the normal blogging, including reading everyone's, which I haven't been doing either. :(

Hope everyone has a fabulous and prosperous 2007!

Sounds like a busy 2 months, thanks for the recap. How's the face looking these days?

Jensen had character overalls like that for her 3rd birthday, bought from ebay. Those are very cute!

Oh do I just love catching up with your blog. You did a wonderful job with the updates and I REALLY hope that the bruises are subsiding!

The photos from your trip and from Christmas are fabulous... Cam is really growing up and it's so cute to hear that Megan is now pretending. And I love when kids learn how to say "uh oh". Too cute!

My little girl just learned to say, "Uh oh" last week as well. Does that qualify as a first word? LOL Welcome back to blogging!
