rode in my first limo on Valentine's. Never did prom, or the big wedding, so this was my first. woot! lots of fun :) a fabulous surprise from hubs. he rocks.
meg's been sick :( had a virus infection, and double ear infection. poor babe. on the mend now though.
broke in the pool this weekend. it was so.so.so cold. 60 degrees to be exact. i was pretty sure my bodily organs were shutting down the moment my body came flying out of the slide. once was enough. but my *slightly* intoxicated husband and his friend did it more than once. nuts. us girls kept our booties in the nice steamy hot tub thank you very much. and the pool can wait until warmer weather.
I had the SU workshop at the house on sunday... my fil called during it to talk to anita and told me that they had gotten an offer on their house. it was an odd moment for sure.... when she got off the phone and told me the deets, it was surreal almost. hmm... so many mixed feelings for this.
it's been quite the year. i'm happy for them- their new house they built is beautiful, and it is a great new start. i'm just sad... it was so nice having them so close, and seeing them a few times a week and stopping by whenever. my mil and i have done so many things together with the kids, and she's been so much a part of our lives. they'll be a little under an hour away now, which isn't far, but just...... different. and as much as i like change for my hair, not so much for everything else. cameron informed them he wants "his" room exactly the same in the new house, so i think he's much like me in that way. i'm sure a year from now there will be a new regular and new routine for all of us. until then, there are plenty of boxes that will be coming from those closets and the attic that i will have to find room for here... i can only imagine what, since cameron now has brent's old transformers, he-men, star wars... ugh, that guy saved everything!
i, in my 60+ moves, did not. and i'm pretty sure megs wouldn't want my magic markered barbies with shaved heads anyways.
hmm... think cam got the shaft on these layouts... last month megs did, so i guess it all works out. :)
I am always in awe of all the other girls on the team- such talent! love seeing all their work!
