Fairy, Tooth Fairy that is...

will be visiting our casa tonight! Cameron finally let me pull the plug on his first tooth.... *sniff*
Gramma and Papa gave him a t-shirt that says “On the tooth fairy’s payroll” and $5…. When he came home tonight, he said he wanted to give two of his dollars to the tooth fairy since she goes all around to all the little kids that lose teeth and gives away all her money.
Awww… bless his little heart!
So what's the going rate for tooth fairy visits these days?

The going rate in Celestine is $1/tooth. But, we have 3 kids losing teeth at the same time! LOL!

My kids got $1 a tooth, the only time they got more was when Tim had to have three pulled to make room for one coming in. Congrats, Cameron on loosing that tooth

How sweet! I'd say (depends on how many kids you have) $5/tooth. That way they can buy a small toy or save it up! :o]

$5 tooth is very generous -- though I've heard Angelina Jolie gives her kids $100.

I have it on good authority (from the lips of the tooth fairy herself!) that the going rate is 25 cents. The fairy says this is because she's one busy gal, and can only handle lugging around one mode of payment.

According to her, if kids get more, it's because "their overexcited parents just can't keep their mitts off of her domain." (Did I mention the tooth fairy is incredibly feisty??)

That said, when I showed her your blog, she said that Cameron is now on her "favorite kids in the whole galaxy" list, but that he should keep the dollars and buy something as a surprise for the cute little blonde in his life. ;-)
