some new stuff for KMA this month... it's been a little harder this summer to squeeze in some creativity. At the moment though, I'm enjoying the strange beautiful sound of peace and quiet at my house... the kids are at their grandparents, and Brent's at the Astro's game.... how lovely... yet odd. i can count on one hand the number of times I've been alone in my house, since usually when the kids are not with me, it's because i have an appointment of some kind, or a rare date with my husband.
had the master bedroom painted yesterday, and it rocks. it was the last surviving room that had not been painted since we moved here, and now it's got its own fresh coat. yay!
also enjoyed the most fabulous dinner at Tommy Bahama's last night. they have the most wonderful food and service every time we go there. I'll warn you to be careful with their coconut cloud martini- one will take care of any woes you might have. We walked around Market Street for a while after, and headed into Bath Junkie for the kids to make some concoctions with Gramma... it's been a tradition for some years now- I'm pretty sure Gramma loves it as much as the kids do. I got some yummy lotion too this time- I keep sniffing myself!
off to enjoy the peace a little more.... happy sunday!

Great layouts as usual!!
What color is the bedroom....
Weren't we just talking about the whole "home alone" thing? Maybe I just need to wish it and it will come true for me too. :-) Actually with the boys gone and just the girls and I at home today (and for the next two days--woo hoo) it's very peaceful here too.
Your layouts are gorgeous. Love the book reading one. And the "Wish" one, of course. :-)
Send me a martini, my car is costing $1K to fix. Yikes. Because I'm made of money smack dab in the middle of a renovation. Sorry for not letting you over yet, but there's a reason why there are very few outside pics...
the layouts are wonderful, there's no creativity going on here, so its nice to look at some
enjoy the quiet time, wishing I could have some of that here!
Well, you make "not having much creativity" look pretty darn good!
A quiet house?! What on earth does that sound like?
As usual, beautiful layouts!
Carrie
