Oh.My. Can't believe there's only ONE month until you're ONE!! This year has passed insanely fast, and doesn't show signs of slowing down anytime soon.
This month had one huge change for you- a new home! We wanted to move into a bigger home before either of you started school, so that you would never have to switch schools, and it finally happened this month. We're now in a two story, and have latching swing gates installed already for your ever busy self. You love walking along the catwalk and looking downstairs, and seem to love squealing really loud to hear the echo. You and your brother have both adjusted great to the new house- sleeping just fine, and loving it. It's a big adjustment, but you guys are both such troopers!
This month also marked your first ER visit :(. You dislocated your arm again, only this time it was a sprain, so you were a little sore for a couple of days. Nothing a little Tylenol didn't help out with. It's just something you have to outgrow, which hopefully will be soon- I hate to see you in pain, and it happens so easily! (I also don't care for those looks the doctors give me as if I mangled you or something)
You also took your first steps this month! Yay! You did it at first only for Daddy, signaling only to me just how much you manipulate the system, knowing there is no need for you to walk for me, because I will pick you up. By the end of this month though, you've been tottering more and more wanting that independance- you even go so far as to push my hand away when I'm trying to help. We're up to four steps at a time before you either flop or decide it's taking entirely too long to get where you want to go, and you go back to crawling.
You also popped through another tooth this month on the upper side- you love to bite everything, especially me. A common phrase out of my mouth is "No bite!" followed quickly by your "Plllggghhhhh" in response, telling me once again you know exactly what you're doing.
Even though you only have two and a half teeth, you still have no problem at all devouring everything you see- you conquered entire grilled
cheeses and a whole hot dog this month, and with all the parties we've been going to, you've had plenty of cake and ice cream too! Your buddy Hannah celebrated her first birthday this month, and so did Jackson!
You also saw your first parade this month for the 4th of July- we ended the day celebrating over at the Trahan's with our friends.Happy Birthday Baby- and here's to another month of new discoveries, laughs and great memories! I love you! Mama

Dylan realized Megan is on his heels so he officially walks everywhere. It is sad that Megan has to do everything like that to get his booty moving, but it is probably how their relationship will be. You know, when they get married. "Pick up your boxers from the living room, Dylan." "Stop your crying, Dylan." I am going to show him how well she rides the bike, he only pushes it around the room from behind.
