Aunt Lola rocks.

My great Aunt Lola called me last night- she was calling to thank me for her Mother's Day card (so sweet) and see how we were doing.... she's 82 and about 4 feet tall and spry as ever. Coolest lady I've ever had the joy of knowing. I stayed with her for a while after my divorce from my first husband. Anyways, she's telling me about what she's been up to, and says she went HANG GLIDING a few weeks ago!!! She said her kids were all chicken and wouldn't go with her, just videotaped it. rofl. I told her I had always wanted to do that, and she says, "Well sweetie, you can go when you're 82 like me!" I was cracking up. I can only hope to be in that kind of shape when I'm her age. Heck, I don't think I'm in that kind of shape NOW!
