sniffle. Megan's in her own bed for the first time tonight. She's been taking naps in there, but this is the first night. The kids' bedrooms are so far away from ours- I keep going to check on her, secretly hoping she'll wake up and cry so that I can put her back in the bassinet in our room. But she's nice and peaceful (I even touched her, and it still didn't work!) so it shall be. It's not so much her sleeping in her bed, it's just another signal that's she's growing and getting older. Yes, that's good. She's growing great and healthy, but part of me just wants to keep her a baby, small enough to cuddle in my arms, and to forever keep that baby smell. *sigh* That and it's a mile it seems from our bedroom to theirs. Thank God for monitors.
I think I might have to go touch her again, just to make sure she's really asleep.
